Hey there! I'm Devynne, owner of Divine Designs. Allow me tell you the story of how this business came to be.

My husband and I once owned 26 acres of land where we dreamed of building our forever home. We spent our days working the land, planning for the future, and pouring our hearts into what was next. When the time came to make some big decisions about career and childcare, I found myself standing at a crossroads: should I continue on my current path, or take a leap of faith and start my own business? After all, our daughter was only six months old at the time, and growing more with each passing day. I felt like I was missing so much of a precious time in her life.

I prayed about it and talked to God, “If we put the tractor up for sale and it sells easily, I’ll take that as a sign to think seriously about starting my own business.” The tractor sold within two days.

Still seeking clarity, I prayed again: “If we sell our land and can cover a full year of my salary, I’ll take that as Your confirmation.”

I was terrified at the thought of starting my own business. I was successful where I currently was and felt foolish for contemplating taking such a huge risk that would change not only my life, but my family's as well.

My family offered endless encouragement and support. The same question kept lingering in my mind: If I don't follow my own dreams, how can I encourage my daughter to do the same?

Our land sold and the profit was almost to the dollar of what I asked God to provide. At that point, I knew what I had to do.

That’s how my business began — not just from a dream, but from faith, trust, and a willingness to follow where God was leading. And goodness, what a blessing it has been.
